About the Maker
Puur BOOM was founded by Ilonka Pulles. “My passion for nature and the beautiful products that you can create from it has always been enormous.” In recent years, Ilonka has immersed herself in making natural care products, based on her homemade oil. With Pure BOOM she collects and uses the wealth of substances that nature has to offer. “I want to bring more attention to nature’s herbs through the products.”
Production Process & Sustainability
The soaps from atelier Puur BOOM are made by hand in a purely traditional manner in our own workshop. Ilonka works with the ‘cold process’ method. A process in which (in contrast to ‘hot-process’) the active properties of the butters and oils in the soap are retained. The ointment, oil, body butter, deodorant and scrub are prepared by hand with organic ingredients, where all the forces of nature are preserved. The ingredients are packaged in a glass jar and provided with a recycled label. Sheep wool is used for shipping purposes.
