About the Maker
Ava grew up with a mother who was a psychic healer and a grandmother who owned a health food store in France. This background meant that organic food, meditation and natural care came naturally to her. After two decades of seeing a growing awareness about healthy lifestyles, Ava was surprised that many people were still using harmful care products. “What you put on your skin not only ends up in the environment, but also in your body,” says Ava.
Production Process & Sustainability
Aphyta is produced traditionally in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, with organic and fair trade ingredients. The packaging is sustainable: the cardboard comes from plant waste and the glass bottles from Italy have no plastic labels. Ava’s mission is to make people aware of the impact of care products and to make natural alternatives the new standard.
The Collection
The Aphyta collection includes five carefully composed products: a hand cream with organic avocado oil and shea butter, a facial cleanser and make-up remover, a moisturizing tonic with aloe vera and rose water, a day cream with macadamia oil, and an intensive anti-aging cream with meadowfoam seed oil and shea butter. Each product is designed to meet the needs of different skin types, from dry hands to sensitive skin, offering a natural alternative to conventional care products.
