Golden Milk is an ancient Ayurvedic drink, originally from India. It is a heart-warming golden drink, made from turmeric, delicious spices and warm (vegan) milk. A real family drink. This Curcumama Golden Milk blend is a completely unique recipe. Made out of love and passion for fellow human beings.
About the Maker
One day, while traveling in Australia in an ancient forest, Nellen Edens felt inspired to make Golden Milk. From that moment on she started collecting Golden Milk recipes. “I got them from everywhere. From the internet, from books and magazines. I studied the herbs, the effect of the herbs on body and mind and the health aspects. I selected the most vibrant herbs and made the recipes. Meticulously kept track of every action and recorded the effect of the drink on my body and mind. I let my family members taste everything and they didn’t like it. For a year I was alone on my big mission: making Golden Milk.”
After a year, Nellen still had not discovered the right recipe. “Then I thought: I have now tried all the recipes, I know what the herbs do to me and I have not found a single recipe that comes close to the feeling I have in my heart. I’ve learned a lot this year. I’ll stop now and start all over again. Now, I will mix from my heart.”
Made with love
And that turned out to be a success. The Curcumama Golden Milk Blend is now sold worldwide. “Curcumama is a real family business. All our children help and we still mix the herbs and spices ourselves. We do this with all our heart, love, a lot of herbal knowledge and with a great sense of responsibility for ourselves and our fellow human beings, our planet and everything that lives and exists on this planet. It is our mission that our delicious, healthy Curcumama Golden Milk Blend is on all kitchen tables around the world.”
