At Dots & Freckles you can find cheerful, colorful earrings made from polymer clay. The earrings are very light, so they can be worn all day long; a real statement piece to give a simple outfit a special touch.

Dots & Freckles was founded in 2021 by Bianca Hauke, who wanted to do something creative in addition to her office job. She never expected that it would become her full-time job within a year. What started with a number of orders from family and friends has grown into a brand that participated in the Amsterdam Christmas market and pop-up shops in the 9 Straatjes and now also has an online shop.
Production process & Sustainability
All creations are made by Bianca herself in Amsterdam. She buys the polymer clay locally (in ‘Dutch style’; by bike!). She shapes the soft clay using 3D printed cutters. After coloring and shaping, they are fired in the same way as other earthenware products. They are then polished and assembled into earrings. With keeping in mind to create as little waste as possible, the smallest pieces of clay are processed into another creation.
Dots & Freckles’ creations are made to last and combat fast fashion. The material does not discolour, so the earrings can be worn for years.
