FEBO

FEBO, founded in 1941 under the name Bakery FEBO and later renamed Maison FEBO, is the company of pastry chef Johan Izaäk de Borst. In addition to artisanal bread and other delicacies, Johan de Borst delved into creating a snack: the croquette. The demand for his freshly made croquettes was so great that in 1960 he stopped the pastry shop and continued with a vending machine where he sold croquettes and other fresh snacks. Today, FEBO has over 75 locations under the leadership of the third generation, Dennis de Borst.

FEBO believes in Dutch products and local suppliers; why source from afar when it can grow and thrive nearby? Quality comes first, and they make no compromises on this. FEBO uses 100% Dutch beef, supplied for over 50 years by the same supplier from the Amsterdam area, which, like FEBO, is a family business. The beef comes from cows grazing in the meadows of Abcoude. All snacks are still prepared fresh every morning according to authentic recipes and are available in the locations the same day.
