About the maker
Frans Willem is an industrial designer and was active in the advertising world for many years. He designs many products using digital techniques such as 3D printing and CNC milling. Inventing and creating is his passion.
The production process & sustainability
Frans Willem Pompe’s products are all hand made by himself. From designing using CAD software to creating the milling instructions, milling, sanding and creating the manual to packing.
The children’s furniture that is currently online is made of beech plywood. No screws or glue are required to put them together. Frans Willem: “Has your child grown too big for the chair? Then take it apart, wrap it up and give it as a gift to another child. This way we keep it as sustainable as possible.”
