About the maker
The fascinating Master Distiller has a remarkable life story. His love for distilling and brewing brought him all over the world. John started in the 1970s as a hobby brewer of Dutch and Belgian specialty beers. After a long break and years of not working in the brewing world, the itch returned in 2011. John set up his 100% organic distillery: BioSpirits BV. In the beginning, the focus was on making, among other things, traditional Dutch jenever and gin. The rent of the distillery was paid from this until the moment that his new whiskey had matured for at least 3 years. John now brews whisky, rum, le cognac, dry gin and vodka under the brand name John B. Organic.
