the makers of
work-training company
In Pantar’s furniture workshop, people with a distance to the labor market work to develop their talents. This work-study company helps people with a physical, mental or psychological disability, or with a problematic background. Pantar believes that everyone has value and can work. Employees are given the opportunity to develop themselves and receive training to get closer to the labor market.
About the Makers
Pantar employs approximately 3,000 people from Amsterdam and Diemen, spread across various locations. Handmade tables made of wood and mosaic are produced in the furniture workshop and the mosaic studio. The makers develop their skills and use their creativity to deliver unique, tailor-made products.
Production Process
The tables are made from recycled wood from old pallets. These are processed into solid sheet material that is used for the tables. Customers can choose from different bases and custom designs, including mosaics and logos. The tables are finished with lacquer or oil for a professional look.
Sustainability
Pantar upcycles discarded pallets into high-quality tables, with a choice between smoothly planed slats or a rougher, unplaned appearance. This process minimizes waste and offers sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions for any interior, fully customized and adapted to the customer’s wishes.
