Amsterdam Made celebrates its 10th anniversary with a sustainable gift for the city

Amsterdam Made, in honor of its 10th anniversary, is giving a special gift to the city of Amsterdam: 500 m² of additional biodiversity!

This gift aligns with an initiative that Boeren van Amstel has been carrying out for some time: for every kilo of Amsterdammer Kaas sold, they sow one square meter of biodiversity along their ditch banks. In this way, they are working step by step toward their ambition to realize 100,000 m² of additional biodiversity within two years in Amsterdam’s green backyard.

Thanks to the contribution from Amsterdam Made, another 500 m² of herb-rich grassland can now be created, benefiting insects, meadow birds, and a healthy landscape. A gift that serves not only the farmers but also the city.

Curious how you can contribute to the city’s biodiversity as well? You can read more about it on the Boeren van Amstel website.
