About the Maker
Puck’s journey to starting Botanica Aroma started when she was 17. She left high school determined to pursue her passions, starting with a degree in photography school. During this educational journey she came across a maker who introduced her to the fascinating world of candles. Puck immediately fell in love with this craft. Inspired by this new passion, she created a business plan and enrolled in business school. Today, she graduated with honors from this business school and proudly runs her company: Botanica Aroma.
Production Process & Sustainability
Each Botanica Aroma product is handmade, inspired by botanical aesthetics. The production process of the Botanica Aroma candles starts with carefully selected natural ingredients such as soy wax and vegan oils. These are melted, mixed with the chosen scents and poured into the jars by hand. After the candles have hardened, they are checked by hand, labeled and packaged in environmentally friendly materials, resulting in high-quality and durable scented candles that bring a warm atmosphere to your home.
The scented candles are sustainable because of the use of natural ingredients – such as soy wax and vegan oils – instead of synthetic substances such as paraffin. Wooden wicks are used instead of cotton wicks, resulting in cleaner burning and less waste. Additionally, Botanica Aroma is committed to using reusable, recyclable or biodegradable packaging, making the candles an environmentally friendly choice.
