Ineke & Résalieke
Initiators
Doing a good deed for Amsterdam has never been so tasty and easy! Eat, buy or serve the Eberhardjes cookies and you directly make connecting initiatives possible by Amsterdammers for Amsterdammers.
About the Makers
The Amsterdam Eberhardje is named after Eberhard van der Laan. The former mayor’s assignment to all Amsterdam residents was ‘Take good care of our city and each other’. Together with Holtkamp Horeca Patisserie & Croquetten, Ineke and Résalieke started baking this cookie with a story in 2018. Because Amsterdam’s catering industry embraced the message, the Eberhardje has become an indispensable part of our capital. The net proceeds from the Eberhardjes are used to support and make visible connecting initiatives in Amsterdam. This is done through the ‘Hart voor je stad‘ foundation.
More than 20,000 kilos of Eberhardjes have already been sold through the catering industry and consumers. In addition to its own store, Eberhardjes has about 25 catering customers in the city and a growing number of sales points that tell the story together with them. And they like to grow further!
Do Good for the City
If you eat or buy Eberhardjes, you are immediately doing something good for the city. Together with you as well as many entrepreneurs, residents and visitors as possible, ‘the cookie of Amsterdam’ will become a success. In this way, Eberhardjes creates a sustainable source of income for the city and together we make Amsterdam more social and liveable.
