Lucas van Hapert is a graphic designer and makes screen prints, calendars and Christmas cards, among other things. It is also possible to order personalised screen prints.
About the maker
While studying graphic design, Lucas van Hapert became curious about the technique of screen printing and started experimenting. After graduating from the Utrecht University of the Arts in 2010, he immediately started his own business. He used his enthusiasm for screen printing techniques to create cityscapes. This started with screen printings of Utrecht and later expanded to other cities.
The most beautiful images were bundled into a birthday calendar. These calendars are now available of Utrecht, Nijmegen, Haarlem, Groningen, Arnhem, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
The production process & sustainability
Lucas designs all the cards and screen prints himself, using water-based ink. The calendars and Christmas cards are printed elsewhere in the Netherlands. Each screen print is issued in a limited edition and is numbered.
