Midori Green Salt makes all-natural herbal salts, free from preservatives, chemicals and artificial substances. These products combine sea salt with herbs, spices, vegetables and sometimes fruit, perfect for anyone who likes pure and healthy food.

About the maker
Nicoletta Tavella, Italian chef and owner of La Cucina del Sole cooking school in Amsterdam, started Midori Green Salt from her passion for tasty, healthy food and fresh herbs. In January 2019, she started experimenting with herbal salts, which led to a product line that was fully developed two years later.

Production Process
The herbal salts are made by hand, using only natural ingredients. Nicoletta produces everything in small batches to ensure freshness and quality, and designs the labels for her products herself. In addition to herbal salts, she also makes fresh pasta and pasta sauces, such as pesto alla genovese and game sauces.

Sustainability
Midori Green Salt packages its products in glass mills and jars to minimize the use of plastic. The packaging is fully recyclable and sustainable. Nicoletta also uses population-controlled game meat in her pasta sauces, which contributes to animal-friendly and environmentally friendly food production.
