About the Maker
The night Jeanette quit her job at a large corporate company, she went to the bathroom for her selfcare ritual in relief. When she came to brush her teeth, the tube of toothpaste was almost empty, she could hardly get the last bit out and then the cap could no longer be put on straight. Couldn’t this be easier, better for our health and for our planet? That’s what intrigued Jeanette. What came to follow? A search for a chemist to develop formulas and a manufacturer who has the credentials to make natural-based cosmetics. After development and passing various (safety) tests, ReBloom Care was launched in April 2024.
The Production Process & Sustainability
First, the toothpastes are made by the Dutch supplier who only works with natural ingredients. The ingredients are mixed together according to the recipe. When the toothpastes have the right texture, they go to the filling conveyor. The glass bottles & refill containers are filled there and weight checked. Samples are taken during each production to ensure quality. Checks on taste, viscosity and texture, but also on the operation of the pump mechanism. Finally, the labels are attached and the packages are placed in a box for shipping.
ReBloom Care is a premium and plant-based, plastic-free toothpaste in a bottle. The glass bottle can be refilled with the refill pack that contains up to 4 months of toothpaste per person. This means a saving of 75% plastic waste. The brown glass packaging is also environmentally friendly.
