SAPINCA makes divine drinks from forgotten root and fruit varieties, which have a unique taste. These ingredients, once used by the Incas for their powerful taste or medicinal effect, have been rediscovered and brought together in two variants: the ‘Organic Root Elixir’ and the ‘Organic Fruit Elixir’. Both are purely natural, organic and alcohol-free.
About the Maker
The story of SAPINCA started in 2021 with Diederick Evers, taste adventurer and entrepreneur. From an early age, he was influenced by the culinary world through his mother, a renowned chef and cooking school owner. During his travels to Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, he discovered exotic flavors that formed the basis for SAPINCA. In South America he encountered ancient cultures and special root and fruit varieties, such as yacon and camu camu, which further stimulated his curiosity.
Production Process
SAPINCA is made according to a traditional preparation process in which ingredients are carefully mixed and heated. The process ends with no-cook pasteurization to preserve both the unique flavors and healthy vitamins and minerals. The result is elixirs with a powerful taste sensation and the color and power of the sun.
Sustainability
SAPINCA uses organic ingredients and unrefined blue agave as a natural sweetener. The entire production process is organic and vegan certified, and the brand supports an organic farming system. In addition, every purchase contributes to Misión Huascarán, which provides children in Peru with clean drinking water, healthy vitamins, and minerals. The goal is to support at least 10,000 children in five years.
Children’s Nutrition and Clean Water Program
With every sip of SAPINCA you support Misión Huascarán. This is a non-profit organization that improves the lives of children living in extreme poverty in rural Peru. Clean drinking water is hard to find here and is often full of bacteria and parasites. That is why water filters are installed in their villages but also at schools, so that they always have access to clean drinking water. They also receive new (antibacterial) drinking bottles, made from recycled aluminum. These children are often malnourished, which is why they are supported twice a week with healthy vitamins and minerals at school.
