Production process & sustainability
Urban Bakers bakes with passion and a touch of rebellion: everything is handmade using a self-developed sourdough and natural, plant-based ingredients – without artificial additives. The bread is baked with organic flour from a Dutch mill, often made from local grains, and the baking process takes several days. The coffee is locally roasted, the fruit for jams follows the seasons, and lemons and oranges for cakes are hand-pressed and zested. Packaging is nearly plastic-free and the bakery works closely with local partners.
