About the Maker
In the seventeenth century, when the VOC ships brought herbs, spices and sugar to Amsterdam, liqueurs began to be distilled on a larger scale. At that time, liqueur was only for the rich because of the high prices and prosperity within Amsterdam. Wynand Fockink made distilling liqueurs his business and founded the company of the same name. This was a family business until 1954, proudly passed down and run by generation after generation. After his death, he successfully left everything to his only heiress Maria.

Under the leadership of Wynand Fockink and his descendants, the liqueur distillery grew into one of the largest in the Netherlands in 1954 and continued to grow in the years that followed. With trading houses in Berlin, Vienna, Brussels and Paris, the distillery has continued to grow through hard work and craftsmanship into the high-quality brand they are today.

A liquor store, tasting room, distillery and distributor; everything is now run by a close-knit ‘family’ of colleagues, each with their own expertise. This expertise forms the basis for liqueurs, genevers, bitters, brandies, Amsterdam dry gin and various other products. All made from carefully selected ingredients and from a passion for distilling.

Located in the heart of Amsterdam, with a real Amsterdam character and mentality, the Wynand Fockink distillery is home to brands such as Damrak Gin, Bols and of course the own Wynand Fockink range. A wide range of different products, all together known as the famous Wynand Fockink range.

By hand-picking all the ingredients one by one, they create the best, most unique and delicious drinks with the most amazing colors. These ingredients are all given their own perfect processing method to provide you with spot-on flavors. A very impressive range with excellent colors and flavors, each made as in the old days.
